“Agnanti Kalou” is situated at the east coast of Lefkada, in the picturesque village of Perigiali, on a hill with panoramic views over a cluster of islands and only 10′ walk (100 metres) from the sea.

Small but utterly captivating, this traditional village is surrounded by pine and olive trees, and offers panoramic views over the complex of small islands formed by Meganissi, Madouri, Sparti, Scorpidi and Aristotle Onasis’ private islands of Scorpios and Scorpidi, all of which make this particular location so original and magnetic.

Our proximity to the cosmopolitan Nidri (just half a mile away), allows easy access to shops, to amazing restaurants with a variety of Mediterranean dishes, and to a vibrant nightlife and many leisure activities, such as windsurfing, cycling and hiking.

Guests can hire a boat at Nidri to explore the local islets, try one of the regular boat trips to the idyllic ‘Porto Katsiki’ in the south west of the island, famous for its white cliffs and turquoise waters, or take one of the regular ferries for a day trip to neighbouring islands of Ithaca, Kephalonia or Meganissi.

Known for its glorious beaches, sophisticated villages and relaxed vibe, Lefkada island remains one of the most unspoiled destinations in Greece which retains its authentic character.

Lefkada is the fourth largest island of the Ionian Sea and is the only island that visitors can reach by car, connected as it is to the mainland Greece by a long floating bridge. Small but absolutely magnificent, its size only makes the island easier to explore by car.

The east coast is sheltered, with family-friendly beaches and pine and olive trees which extend to the seaside, whereas the west side of the island is famous for its white cliffs, azure waters and fabulous stretches of sand with timeless appeal, many only accessible by boat.

The scenery changes completely at the central part of Lefkada, with mountainous landscapes and an abundance of small villages with traditional taverns and stone houses. Visitors can try the local cuisine which is based on pure local produce. The island is also famous for its unique embroideries made in the village of Karya, as well as Karya’s folklore festivals and cultural events.
