Known as a sailing destination and for its glorious beaches, sophisticated villages and relaxed vibe, Lefkada island remains one of the most unspoiled destinations in Greece, retaining its authentic character.

Lefkada is a small but magnificent island, making it easy for visitors to explore by car.

The east coast is sheltered, with family-friendly beaches and pine and olive trees which extend to the seaside, whereas the west side of the island is famous for its white cliffs, azure waters and fabulous stretches of sand with timeless appeal. The central part of Lefkada offers a wealth of small villages, traditional tavernas and amazing landscapes.

‘Agnanti Kalou’ is ideally located in a hilly village at the East coast of the island, Perigiali, just 100 metres from the sea, half a mile from the cosmopolitan Nidri and 12km (20’)  from the island’s capital, the town of Lefkada.

Once separated by a canal, a 50m swing-bridge now links the island of Lefkada to the region of western Greece, making easy for drivers to access the island by car.

The closest airport to Lefkada is Préveza – Aktion National Airport (international airport code: PVK), just 17 km (30′ drive) from Lefkada.

Regular car ferry services operate from Lefkada (from Nidri and Vassiliki) to Kefalonia, Ithaka and Meganissi, offering the opportunity to have day trips  and explore the beauties of the other islands too.
